Ladies and gentlemen, the ugliest Batman costume design, ever:

This is from the Smallville comic book, which is essentially “season 11” of the recently ended CW TV show. Art by Chrisscross.

There’s an artist named Chriscross? Does his art make you “Jump! Jump!” Wow.

  • Dara says:

He’s been around since the 90s, and I believe got his start on the Milestone books. I remember liking his art, but it’s been a while so I’m not sure how it would hold up, or whether his style has changed much over the years. I do know that I find this particular Batman costume design horrendous.

  • Tony Goins says:

The rendering’s pretty good, but dang that is an ugly costume.
